Use the bale grab to pick up the mid size bales. The New Holland make stacks of 10 and the Hesston stacks of 8.
When building the stacks the grab ensures the safety of the operator and the safety of the tractor. The grab is on top of the bales and the claws penetrate into the bales. This action stops the bales from falling while moving.
When placed on the stack the claws are retracted and the grab is raised off the stack. This ensures that the stack remains where it is, and is in no danger of pulling the bales back onto the operator or the tractor, which often is the case with the bale spears.
The transporter picks up the stacks to take to the barn or for roadside stacking.
